It's the 58th edition!
With its traditional opening stage on October 28th and 29th in Sölden (Austrian Alps), the Alpine Ski World Cup remains a prestigious competition, marking the beginning of a series of events featuring high-speed downhill runs, technical slaloms, and super-G races.
This 58th edition promises a spectacular spectacle, pitting the world’s most talented and determined athletes against each other. The battle will be fierce to earn valuable points and climb the overall rankings.
On March 24, 2024, in Saalbach (Austrian Alps), the season will culminate with the finals of this World Cup, where champions in each discipline will be crowned. Most importantly, we will find out who will have the honour of lifting the prestigious Crystal Globe, the ultimate trophy in alpine skiing.
The Crystal Globe is currently held by Marco Odermatt, a Swiss skier, and Mikaela Shiffrin, an American skier. They remain favourites to defend their title, but the competition is expected to be fierce, with new contenders ready to give their all on the snowy slopes.
This season promises to be thrilling, full of suspense and exceptional performances, with the potential to write new chapters in the history of alpine skiing.
