Tignes: France's n°1 in freestyle

Tignes reaffirms its status as France’s freestyle capital. The lineup for the 2024 Mountain Shaker, featuring freestyle skiing, indoor skateboarding, FISE Experience, and snowboard slopestyle, lived up to expectations, delighting all spectators.

Despite very windy weather, the slopestyle event saw French athlete Tess Ledeux clinch success, ahead of Switzerland’s Mathilde Gremaud and Canada’s Olivia Asselin. In the men’s category, American Mac Forehand took the top spot, followed by Norway’s Tormod Frostad and American Konnor Ralph in 3rd place.

In snowboard slopestyle, victory in the men’s category went to Japan’s Ryoma Kimata, with a commendable second place for young Frenchman Romain Allemand (17 years old), followed by Japan’s Taiga Hasegawa in third place. The women’s podium was 100% Japanese, with Kokomo Murase in first place, Miyabi Onitsuka in second, and Reira Iwabuchi in third.

The crystal globe for the Big Air event was claimed by Mathilde Gremaud for the women and American Alex Hall for the men.
