Chevril Lake: Drainage 2024

To inspect its 180-meter wall, the Tignes Dam, commissioned in 1953, undergoes a decennial drainage, more precisely the artificial Lake Chevril.

This year 2024 is the event not to be missed, as the last two drainages took place in March 2000 and April 2014. The old village of Tignes, submerged in 1952, takes the opportunity to resurface, which always represents an emotional moment.
