The beautiful story of an excellent skier
This name is that of the great alpine skier Jean Claude Killy who was triple Olympic champion in 1968, triumphing in the slalom, downhill and giant slalom events.
Killy won his first big victory at the “Critérium de la 1re Neige” in Val d’Isère in December 1961, he was 18 years old, it was the start of a very fine career during which he won six world championship titles. and the first two Alpine Skiing World Cups in history, in 1967 and 1968.

Espace Killy is the domain of all skiers, snowboarders, acrobatic skiers, beginners, children, etc. everything is possible! Great champions regularly leave their mark there, such as Luc Alphand, Hermann Maier or Johan Clarey, a local child.
Tignes – Val d’Isère offer people with disabilities the opportunity to fully practice board sports. Slopes, packages, and ski lifts are specially designed for handiskiers, instructors are there to accompany them.
There are also many off-piste sites such as the “Pramecou” or “Prémout” tour, the “Sache” valley, the “Col des 3000”, the back of “Borsat”, the “Aiguilles du Chardonnet”, the “Couloirs des Tufs” and of course the north face of the “Grande Motte glacier”.
