Tignes offers the perfect mix of conditions
Tignes in April offers abundant natural snow, ideal weather conditions, blue skies, and quieter slopes, ensuring a fantastic stay. Of course, skiing remains the highlight, but it’s also a great time to enjoy original activities such as speed riding, a combination of skiing and piloting a parachute-like wing, or ice diving.
Did you know? Tignes is among the top 5 destinations in the Alps for ice diving, even at night!
You can also try snow biking, another exciting way to navigate the slopes and negotiate turns with undoubtedly unique trajectories. A sure bet is snowshoe hiking, where if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some magnificent ibexes or chamois.
Did you know? The ibex is the emblem of the Vanoise National Park, established in 1963 to preserve this endangered species.
