Tignes, a beautiful variety of courses
Tignes offers a range of circuits for all trail runners’ tastes, with altitudes ranging from 1550m to over 3000m.
Forest trails in Brévières, single tracks with views of the dam and Lake Chevril at 1800m, routes between Tignes le Lac and the high-altitude lakes near the peaks.
You just need to adjust the elevation of your trail outings to your desires and goals. Here’s an overview of the trails in Tignes:
- The Chardonnet Lakes, it’s green: to start trail running in the alpine pastures, with a magnificent view of Lake Tignes and the Grande Sassière.
- The Aiguille Percée, it’s blue: a steady climb along the ridges, then it’s all downhill but be careful, it’s twisty on the slopes of Palafour!
- Tovière, it’s red and great for training, if necessary, you can always take the cable car down.
